The End before the Begining!

February 1, 2009

I can tell U how this is going end, but I can’t tell U how its going start!

I can see where this will go, where it will end, and how it will end!
I can see the fall, and great is the fall!
Trapped by the thoughts of others, by their behaviors, past and present!
Take apart my head, try to understand, constrained, forced, uncontrolled!
I’ve not tasted the world, the fruit, the demons you have!
I am burdened by it, by fruits untasted, by their effects of rot.
Its my own stone around my neck.
Relentless Intolerance
Never loosing vision!
Holding fast to the hope!

Beginnings unbeknownst to me.
There is nothing I wouldn’t give to have the opposite!

My world, normals flipped, downs up, fragile, a curse so for a while.

A Tree And It’s Fruit

January 12, 2009

Lyrics to A Tree And It’s Fruit by Akissforjersey :
Enter Ye in at the strait gate:
for wide is the gate, and broad is the way,
that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way,
which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing,
but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Ye shall know them by their fruits.
Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit;
but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
A good tree cannot bringeth forth evil fruit,
neither can a corrupt tree bringeth forth good fruit.
Every tree that bringeth not good fruit is hewn down,
and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruit ye shall know them.

Not everyone that saith unto me, lord, lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven;
but he that doeth the will of my father which is in heaven.
Many will say to me in that day, lord, lord, have we not prophesied in thy name?
And in thy name have cast out devils?
And in thy name done many wonderful works?
And then i will profess unto them, I never knew you:
Depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine,
and doeth them. I will liken him unto a wise man,
which built his house upon a rock; and it fell not;
for it was founded upon a rock.
And everyone that heareth that heareth these sayings of mine,
and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man,
which built his house on the sand.
And the rain descended, and the floods came,
and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; And it fell, and great was the fall.

Eyes Opened?

October 13, 2008

‘I had my eyes opened!’

I recently heard this statement said by a friend of mine, who had been on a trip into parts of africa. The statement was said in reference to fact that she had had her eyes opened by the things going on there… I hate the use of that statement when used in that context… how oblivious to the world problems are you if you have your ‘eyes opened’ by a simple 4 day trip into a small african country….

Its like asking a doctor to feel empathy and have an understanding of what one of their patients is going thru whilst they are on a bed in the hospital dying. They cannot, they cannot get emotionally involved, that would be in most cases unprofessional…. and your asking them to simply ‘pretend’ to know what their patient is going thru. No one can truly imagine the fears and the concerns of a dying person. The doctor cannot have his ‘eyes opened’ to the position of dying patient.

To have your eyes opened can only happen thru a personal experience. So not going to a country and seeing the state of the nation and its people. You need to physically be put in that position, knowing you’ll be leaving in 4days pretty much means you’re not going to experiencing it thru there eyes and thus… you cannot have your ‘eyes opened’… you’re being shown a glimpse of their world thru their very own eyes.

Next time you want your eyes opened to someones position or dilemma…physically put yourself in that position… which sometime you just cannot do!!!

‘I had my eyes opened!’ In the context of my friend means that she simply found out stuff that she did not know before… eergh… such a mediocre use of this statement!!!
